POOL REGULATIONS

Dear guest:

"In order to create and maintain a pleasant and safe environment in the pools, we kindly ask that you read these pool regulations before using the spaces and services. We also request that you follow the instructions and cooperate with the lifeguards and other staff members of the aquatic facility, as they are all looking out for your well-being."

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

  • The children's pools are for the use of children under 12 years old, who must always be accompanied by an adult.
  • Adults and teenagers should not use the children's pools, except those accompanying children who are not independent.
  • The main pools can be used by children between 4 and 12 years old under the permanent supervision of an adult. For safety and hygiene reasons, children under 4 years old are not allowed to use them.
  • The bubble pool is for the exclusive use of adults over 18 years old.
  • Water slides are for children over 6 years old who are at least 110 cm tall and know how to swim. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
  • If lifeguards or any staff member repeatedly warns a user for violating these regulations, access to the facilities may be prohibited.
  • Management reserves the right to use any space in the facility at any time for activities.
  • Management reserves the right to modify the schedules and even close the pools at any time to address any issues related to the facility (cleaning, maintenance, repairs, etc...) for the benefit of all users.
  • Management is not responsible for any accidents caused by user negligence.

IT IS MANDATORY

  • The use of swim diapers for children who still need them. In the event of a "fecal accident," the guest responsible for the pool closure must pay €300 for hyperchlorination, treatment, and cleaning costs.
  • Wear bath footwear in the showers and wet areas to reduce the risk of falls.
  • Shower before entering the pools to remove any type of waste such as sand, creams, oils, and similar substances that affect water hygiene and clarity.

IT IS PROHIBITED

  • Eating and drinking inside the pools.
  • Access for anyone affected by contagious diseases or if they have been ill in the last 48 hours.
  • Throwing objects or people into the pool.
  • Diving or performing acrobatics of any kind.
  • Access to the pools with signs of intoxication.
  • Performing actions that disturb or endanger other users (running, diving violently, using devices at a disturbing volume, throwing trash...) and that hinder or prevent the development of activities, cause material damage to the facilities, or affect general hygiene.
  • Bringing glass objects (glasses, jars, mirrors, bottles...) into the entire area.
  • The use of inflatables in general (mattresses, boats, rings, balloons, balls, and similar items) as they hinder surveillance tasks. Items used in guided and supervised activities are excluded. The use of swimming boards and noodles is allowed under direct adult supervision.
  • Arm bands and child floaters are toys, not safety items, and may only be used in areas where the child can touch the ground and under direct adult supervision.
  • Leaving objects on loungers to reserve them, as this prevents staff from performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. Any object found outside pool hours will be removed without prior notice.
  • Bringing equipment for underwater swimming, such as diving masks, fins, or blunt objects that may disturb other users.
  • Using prescription glasses or sunglasses in the water. Only swimming goggles are allowed.
  • Taking photographs or videos of other users without their explicit consent (Organic Law on Data Protection).
  • Placing umbrellas, loungers, deck chairs, chairs, mattresses, or inflatable pools, etc... in grassy areas unless they are explicitly designated for such use.
  • Using the pool outside the designated hours or when it is closed for any reason.

RECOMMENDATIONS AGAINST SUN RADIATION

  • Avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours of the day (12:00 to 17:00), as well as prolonged exposure or naps.
  • Minimize the parts of the body exposed directly to the sun. Light clothing, thick-knit shirts, and long pants will block most of the solar radiation. The most comfortable clothes in hot climates are light-colored cotton shirts. It is recommended to cover the head with hats or caps.
  • The sun can also damage the eyes, so it is recommended to use certified sunglasses that filter at least 90% of ultraviolet radiation.
  • Use high SPF sunscreen products appropriate for your age, skin type, and body area. These products should be applied in generous amounts 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every two hours and after each swim. Remember that even very effective sunscreen products cannot guarantee total protection against the risks that ultraviolet (UV) radiation poses to health.
  • Be cautious around and in the water, as radiation can penetrate up to one meter in the water.
  • Pay special attention to children, as they are very sensitive to sun overexposure at this time of year. Children under 3 years should also be kept out of the sun. High SPF sunscreen (over SPF 40) should be used for children.
  • If you are taking medication, make sure it does not increase your skin's sensitivity to UV radiation.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO AVOID DROWNINGS, TRAUMAS AND SPINAL INJURIES

  • Check the depth of the pool before swimming to avoid accidents.
  • Do not dive headfirst or in any other way, nor perform any acrobatics. A bad fall, even in the water, can result in serious injury.
  • It is recommended to enter the water slowly to avoid sudden temperature changes.
  • Constantly supervise children when they are near recreational water, even if the amount is small.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol before any activity in or near water.
  • Showering before entering the water will help with thermal acclimatization and prevent cramps and other complications.
  • Do not jump on other people in the water.
  • If an accident occurs and the victim needs to be moved or handled, it is very important to immobilize the neck, avoid any movement of the spine, and call a professional for transport. The injured person should not be transported in a regular vehicle.
